He plays with a precision and a musicality that fits perfectly with the works in this CD. The performance of the Bach Orchestral Suite No2 is simply unbelievable with Herkenhoff's panflute, with an exquisite barroque style. If you are not familiar with the sound of the panflute, you will not guess that this is the instrument played in the music, because the performance is so virtuous.
